Kid Captain
Whitecaps FC are honoured to have Francisco from Canadian Cancer Society and Camp Goodtimes as Kid Captain for Sunday's home match against Austin FC.
Francisco is 10-years-old, lives in Vancouver, and has only ever played as one team in FC 26: Vancouver Whitecaps FC. Not once has he picked anyone else. His favourite players are Thomas Müller and Brian White. This summer the real game caught up with the video game: he and his mom, dad and little brother Sebastian played soccer together almost every single day, and it is now his favourite sport. He is also a strong swimmer, a sharp chess player and a keen cook. On Sunday he gets to be Kid Captain of the only team he has ever picked.
Please join in welcoming Francisco to the match!
Supporter of the Match
Sunday's supporter of the match will be Shirley Neibel from the Prawnsiders.
Shirley has been a Whitecaps FC supporter for 10 years. Her favourite memory is when the 'Caps made it to MLS Cup last year.
Her favourite part of attending each match in a supporters group is cheering on the 'Caps with fellow Prawnsiders who have become dear friends.
