Kid Captain

Whitecaps FC are honoured to have Connor Dickie. from Ronald McDonald House as Kid Captain for Wednesday's TELUS Canadian Championship match against CF Montreal.

Connor is a nine-year-old from Kamloops, BC. He is an avid soccer player and a big Whitecaps fan. Last year he completed his first season of soccer with Kamloops United FC. In March 2026, Connor was diagnosed with a rare form of paediatric Kidney cancer and is currently completing a 28-week treatment plan at BC Children’s Hospital. He is scheduled to complete his treatment plan in November, and has bravely faced numerous surgeries, radiation, and multiple cycles of chemotherapy. He looks forward to getting back on the field, and pursuing his goals and dreams.

Please join in welcoming Connor to the match!

Supporter of the Match

Wednesday's Supporter of the Match will be Allan Searle from Rain City Brigade.

Allan has been supporting the 'Caps since the club's first season in 1974, and has been a season ticket holder since the first MLS season in 2011.

He has many favourite memories over the years, but one that stands out is the NASL Soccer Bowl championship parade in 1979, and he still has his signed memorabilia.

The best part of being in a supporters group is seeing everyone at every match.
