A promising, young, box-to-box midfielder, Fotsing joined Whitecaps FC via transfer from Canadian Premier League side Vancouver FC of Langley in August 2026.
Fotsing agreed to a contract through the 2029-30 Major League Soccer season, with a club option for the 2030-31 season. As part of the agreement, Fotsing will return to Vancouver FC on loan starting September 15 through the 2026 CPL season, before joining Whitecaps FC ahead of the 2027 MLS Sprint Season.
VANCOUVER FC
Fotsing originally joined the Langley-based side in February 2025 under the CPL's Exceptional Young Talent roster designation, which was introduced in 2023 to support the development of the next generation of young Canadian players. The midfielder has since started 25 starts of his 39 appearances across all competitions, scoring four goals.
CF MONTRÉAL ACADEMY
Prior to his move out west, Fotsing was a member of the CF Montréal Academy and became the captain of the club’s U-18 team, while also spending time with the U-23 team in then Ligue1 Québec.
INTERNATIONAL
On the international stage, Fotsing has represented Canada at the U-20 and U-18 levels. Fotsing was a standout for Canada at the Concacaf U-20 Championship in Mexico, helping the side qualify for the FIFA U-20 World Cup 2027. The midfielder started the opening two matches of group stage play, scoring twice and tallying one assist.
YOUTH
Growing up, Fotsing developed at AS Mascouche (now known as Union Lanaudière Sud) before moving on to AS Blainville.
