WEEKLY STORYLINES:

QUARTERFINALS TIME: Vancouver Whitecaps FC are set to return to Concacaf Champions Cup play as they host the first leg of the quarterfinals against LIGA MX side Pumas UNAM this Wednesday, April 2 at BC Place. Next week, the two teams will square off once again in the second leg at Estadio Olímpico Universitario in Mexico City, Mexico. The winner of the two-legged affair will progress to the semifinals to face either MLS side LAFC or Inter Miami CF. This marks the first time since 2023 that Vancouver reach the quarterfinals stage of the tournament and the second time overall, having reached the semifinals back in 2017.

TOP OF THE WEST: The 'Caps continue to lead the Western Conference, equalling their 2015 season with the best start in the MLS era. On Saturday, April 5, Vancouver will host the Colorado Rapids, who have equalled their best start since 2014 with 11 points in their first six matches.

VAISAKHI CELEBRATION MATCH: Prior to kickoff, supporters are invited to join the Fan Zone on Terry Fox Plaza, where a lively and colourful pre-match celebration will take place in collaboration with RED FM. In a powerful display of unity and pride, the Sikh Motorcycle Club will once again lead the march to the match down Robson Street. In stadium entertainment is in partnership with 5X and will include DJ Kokaheena from pitch level, as well as anthem singer Raman Bains. At halftime, renowned musician Asad Khan will bring the energy. His captivating performance will feature a live electronic set mixed with drummers, lighting, and visuals throughout the stadium to create an unforgettable show.
