PATH TO FOUR: Whitecaps FC – whose road to the upcoming 2025 Concacaf Champions Cup Final began in the 2024 TELUS Canadian Championship – will be looking to win a record fourth consecutive Voyageurs Cup after winning the national crown in 2022, 2023 and 2024. The winner of the TELUS Canadian Championship will qualify for the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup. As defending champions, the 'Caps had a bye in the opening round of the TELUS Canadian Championship, while the other 14 teams vied to join them in the quarterfinals. On May 7, Valour FC defeated TSS Rovers FC 1-0 at Princess Auto Stadium in the preliminary round.

D-FENCE: As the 'Caps prepare to kick off their defence of the Voyageurs Cup, the team's defence continues to stand tall. The Blue and White have allowed the fewest shots on target against in MLS play at 40, are tied for the best goals against record having only allowed 10 in 13 games, hold the lowest expected goals against at 13.8, and are tied for the second most shutouts with six.

ROAD 'CAPS: This week, the 'Caps will play their 10th and 11th matches away from BC Place this year. After suffering a last minute defeat in San José, Costa Rica to open 2025, Vancouver are undefeated in nine on the road. Including two trips to Mexico and one to South Florida in Concacaf Champions Cup action, as well as MLS games in Oregon, Texas twice, Ontario, Missouri and Minnesota. The team has posted a record of 4W-0L-5D, including four clean sheets. In fact, in MLS play, the 'Caps have only allowed two goals in six games away from home.
