VANCOUVER, BC – The September-October international window is underway, with several Vancouver Whitecaps FC players joining their respective national teams for matches around the world. With the ‘Caps entering the crucial, final stretch of the 2026 season, the international break will see players represent their countries across a variety of competitions and friendlies before returning to club action.
The ‘Caps have a total of seven players away this window, consisting of defenders Ralph Priso, Mihail Gherasimencov, Édier Ocampo, as well as midfielder Andrés Cubas. Forwards Rayan Elloumi and Yadaly Diaby have also joined their national teams, along with Whitecaps FC 2 (WFC2) defender Micaah Garnette.
In addition, first team assistant coach Michael D'Agostino will be away with Canada's men's national team during the window, joining the side as a guest coach.
Jeevan Badwal was initially called up to Canada's men's natonal team but has since returned to Vancouver after sustaining a hamstring strain in the match against Real Salt Lake and will not take part in the international window.
