The 'Caps will first head to Québec for the decisive 2026 TELUS Canadian Championship semifinal second leg against CF Montréal. The two teams played to a 1-1 draw in the first leg of the tie at BC Place. Kickoff this Wednesday, September 16 at Stade Saputo is scheduled for 4 p.m. PT.

MATCHUP HISTORY: Wednesday's match will mark the 103rd all-time meeting between Vancouver and a Montréal-based soccer team. It'll also be the 82nd meeting against CF Montréal (previously known as Montréal Impact) and the 19th meeting in Canadian Championship competition. Vancouver will visit their Canadian rivals once again on November 7 for an MLS Decision Day clash to close out regular season play.

ROAD TO HI5TORY: One match away from a fifth consecutive TELUS Canadian Championship Final and a chance to make hi5tory. The 'Caps will look to secure their spot in the Final on Wednesday as they face CF Montréal in the second leg of the semifinals. The two sides drew 1-1 at BC Place on September 2, with Ryan Gauld scoring a late equalizer to cancel out Dani Pereira's opener for the visitors. Wednesday's match will mark Vancouver's first visit to Stade Saputo since July 2024, when the two teams also played to a 1-1 draw in MLS regular season play. The winner of Wednesday's contest will face either Forge FC or FC Supra du Québec in the Final. If the teams are tied after 90 minutes, extra time consisting of two 15-minute halves will be played and a penalty shootout will take place if the result is still tied after extra time.

BACK TO UTAH: The Blue and White will resume MLS regular season action on Saturday with a visit to fellow Western Conference side Real Salt Lake in a rematch of the MLS season opener back in February. Vancouver earned a 1-0 victory on that day, giving them the edge in the all-time record with 16W-15L-5D. Part of that success is a winning streak of three consecutive matches against the Claret and Blue. This includes the 'Caps previous visit to Utah in May 2025 when the team mounted a memorable comeback from two goals down to win 3-2, as well as a 2-1 home victory at BC Place three weeks prior. A number of 'Caps are familiar with Utah having played part of the 2021 season at America First Field (then known as Rio Tinto Stadium) due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Brian White, Ranko Veselinović, Isaac Boehmer, and goalkeeper coach Youssef Dahha are all former Utah residents.

GAULDEN WHITE: Over the past few weeks, a familiar look has returned to the XI in the form of the dynamic duo of Ryan Gauld and Brian White. The Scotsman and the American, who have been with the club since 2021, have registered a total of 220 goal contributions for Vancouver. White is the MLS era goal contribution leader for the club with 115 (95 goals, 20 assists), while Gauld is a close second with 105 (50 goals, 55 assists). The pair are rounding into the form at the right time for the 'Caps, with Gauld tallying two goals as well as two assists in his last four appearances and White scoring in each of his last two appearances to bring him to a three-way tie for third in MLS in goals with 15 (16 across all competitions).
