This week, the 'Caps are set to begin a four-game homestand at BC Place with the first leg of the TELUS Canadian Championship semifinals against MLS side CF Montréal this Wednesday, September 2. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. PT, with public stadium gates opening at 6 p.m. PT.

MATCHUP HISTORY: Wednesday's match will mark the 102nd all-time meeting between Vancouver and a Montréal-based soccer team. It'll also be the 81st meeting against CF Montréal (previously known as Montréal Impact) and the 18th meeting in Canadian Championship competition. The 'Caps will then travel Montréal for the second leg of the tie on September 16 at Stade Saputo. QUEST FOR HI5TORY: Vancouver Whitecaps FC continue their quest for hi5tory this week as they host CF Montréal in the first leg of the TELUS Canadian Championship semifinal on Wednesday, September 2 at BC Place. The 'Caps are looking to lift the Voyageurs Cup for a fifth consecutive year, but first they will need to get past Montréal in the semifinal round. The series renews one of Canada's longest-standing professional soccer rivalries. The clubs first met in 1993, when Vancouver competed as the Vancouver 86ers and Montréal as the Montréal Impact. Since then, the teams have met 80 times across all competitions, with Montréal holding a 37W-28L-15D all-time record. However, Whitecaps FC hold the advantage in the TELUS Canadian Championship, with a 7W-4L-6D record against Montréal.

SEPTEMBER TO REMEMBER: The record-setting season continues in September, with seven matches on the schedule for the Blue and White. The 'Caps will face CF Montréal in a home-and-away semifinal series, beginning at BC Place on September 2 before heading to Montréal for the second leg on September 16. In MLS play, Vancouver will face three Western Conference opponents at BC Place, starting with St. Louis CITY SC on Saturday, followed by LA Galaxy next Wednesday and Austin FC the following Sunday, marking a stretch of three matches in eight days. The 'Caps will then head east to Montréal for the second leg of the TELUS Canadian Championship semifinal before travelling to face Real Salt Lake. Vancouver will close out the month at home against Eastern Conference side D.C. United.
